Lola and Bea are a part of my heart and passion. When I was trying to decide on a name for my company I didn’t have to look very far. I just looked in my heart. Lola & Bea are the names of my two grandmas. Although they have not been, with us for decades, I have beautiful memories of these ladies and I can still remember the sweet sound of their voices. Lola lived in West Virginia and we visit her and Daddy every year or so. She had a beautiful southern tone and I loved to hear her laugh. Every year she grew the most amazing vegetable and flower garden. I knew I could always count on a few envelopes of seeds every Christmas. Bea was my dad’s stepmom. My grandma had died before I was born and my grandfather remarried a childhood friend. Bea lived in Los Angeles and we would visit her on Sundays. The dining table would be extended in her tiny apartment and our family would gather around the table as if it were a Thanksgiving Day feast. We had to try everything that was the rule at Bea's table. Bea's apartment is where I fell in love with pillows. I think she loved pillows also because she had them everywhere. I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often.
